<p>The main language spoken in Croatia is Croatian, which is spoken by 96% of people within Croatia (4,800,000 people) and approximately 1,400,000 in other countries including Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Slovakia, Slovenia. 90% of Croatian speakers are fluent in a second language, most commonly English or German.</p>

<p>Other languages spoken in Croatia include: Italian, Hungarian, Czech and Slovak. These languages are commonly used in neighbouring countries.</p>
