Since 2014, China Indigenous Meat Net Production Per Capita Index increased 0.7% year on year. China is overtaken by Nepal, which was number 33 with $126.67 PPP = 2004–2006 and is followed by Thailand at $125.03 PPP = 2004–2006. Bahrain lead the ranking with $749.88 PPP = 2004–2006 in 2019, a growth of 4% compared to 2018. Malawi, Myanmar and Brunei respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Bahrain witnessed the best average annual growth at +1.9% per year, while Antigua and Barbuda recorded the worst performance at -12.8% per year.
