In 2018, the country was ranked number 22 comparing other countries in Total Greenhouse Gas Emissions from Land Use, Land-Use Change and Forestry at -3,866.72 Thousand Metric Tons of CO2 Equivalent. Lithuania is overtaken by Greece, which was ranked number 21 with -2,977.9 Thousand Metric Tons of CO2 Equivalent and is followed by Hungary with -4,659.94 Thousand Metric Tons of CO2 Equivalent. Indonesia lead the ranking with 1,352,288.35 Thousand Metric Tons of CO2 Equivalent in 2019, a growth of 1.1% versus 2018. Brazil, India and Iceland respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Denmark witnessed the best average annual growth at +28% per year, while Luxembourg witnessed the worst performance at -17.5% per year.
