China - Airport Density

Since 2014, China Airport Density jumped by 4% year on year. In 2019, the country was ranked number 51 comparing other countries in Airport Density at 0.87 Units Per Hundred Thousand Square Kilometers. China is overtaken by India, which was number 50 at 1.02 Units Per Hundred Thousand Square Kilometers and is followed by Chile with 0.85 Units Per Hundred Thousand Square Kilometers. Malta topped the ranking with 859.2 Units Per Hundred Thousand Square Kilometers in 2019, a fall of 3.5% compared to 2018. Luxembourg, Greece and Israel respectively ranked number 2, 3 and 4 in this ranking. Serbia witnessed the best average annual growth at +8% per year, while Malta recorded the worst performance at -7.2% per year.
